GLASS RESTORATION
CORROSION
Just as metals rust and decay, glass surfaces exposed to moisture undergo a process of decomposition known as leaching. As water evaporates, it breaks down the surfaces of the glass and exchanges molecules with the substrate. After the water is gone, the leached material remains on the glass, tightly bonded, leaving unsightly spots.
In some conditions, materials from the surrounding framework also contribute to the deposits, such as metal-oxides from aluminum framing or silicate runoff from window-sealants.
This result commonly referred to as 'hard-water spotting'
As the condition worsens, the deposits becomes increasingly difficult to remove by conventional means.
OUR SOLUTION
Dissolve the deposits with a specially-formulated solution and seal the glass from the elements with a Diamon-Fusion® nanocoating.
This process dramatically restores the appearance of the glass and creates a protective barrier against future corrosion.
